When daily life weighs heavy...

The last few days have felt hard to get through. Like sisyphus I've felt as though I'm pushing a boulder uphill, starting in the morning. By the evening, I've pushed it to the top of the hill, and can look back, leaning on the boulder, amazed that I've made it through the day, and finally start to feel better. The problem comes in the night, when the boulder has rolled back down the hill and the whole process starts all over again. It's exhausting. Day after day of sisyphean tasks. This morning I tried to break this cycle by tackling the morning head on with some reading then a walk in a brisk wind. Today, thankfully, the boulder has felt a bit lighter to roll.
