A walk down the garden path

As part of my #dycp year I undertook a course with the UAL online learning about book illustration. For my story I created a narrative around two children spending the night in the garden shed with the flow of the piece concentrated around the garden path twisting through the centre of the piece. Each section was then framed off to create separate pictures for an eight-page book. I loved this, the course wasn't the one I'd originally booked to do back in March, as it was cancelled, but this turned out to be serendipitious as I really enjoyed the challenge of working with collage and story telling. #artandmentalhealth #artandanxiety #artscouncilengland #ual
