We are marshy folk

In May 2025 I was awarded a large project grant by @createNEL for me to do some reserach,artwork and public engagement around the theme of the former marshes in Grimsby. This project comes on the back of last year's project In the Shadow of the Water Tower, when I dug down into Grimsby's relationship with water and its water tower. Since doing that project I've become more and more interested in the natural landscape in this area and how it shaped our lives, and how the water was drained and went underground. #wearemarshyfolkd
