Some journal pages thoughts on social media. On the one hand, it's great. I love having connections with all the lovely people here, but if you're not feeling 100% it can feel like the worst place to be.
Five months ago I ditched my smart phone for a dumb one, and I can now have a better relationship with social media, and choose when and where I choose to travel there! These poems and drawings are to support my new creative and community outlet Colour Outside The Lines.
What if we treated social media like a place?
That we could choose when and
where we travel there,
or not.
What if we treated social media like a place?
Where we could look out of the window,
each day, and say.
'No thanks. Not today.
Today I'll stay,
at home in my reality.
'Cos it looks like rain.'
