Chat and colour

On Friday I took part in a careers event, setting up a colour and chat table. I've designed more than a hundred colouring sheets over the last few years. On the surface they are such a simple thing, but sitting together and colouring helps to encourage chatter, as there's no eye contact, just busy hands and relaxing rhythmic patterns to fill with colour. I will soon be announcing drop in colouring sessions at my base at Freeman Street market in Grimsby.
