A geyser of thoughts....

In general I'm finding that staying away from the news and social media is really helping with my anxiety. Instead of doom scrolling I'm reading, and my work is meaning that I'm managing to loose myself in research and creativity. This is a much better state of mind for me to funtion in. The only downside is a constantly bubbling of thoughts and ideas that are as a result of my constant input of information (albeit being gardening and heritage based and generally wholesome). I seem to still be struggling with a low-level feeling of worry that I'm behind with my work. This is something to deal with now I've managed to reduce my overall anxiety. It might be that I need to start looking into ways of switching off completely; even on my bike rides I'm finding that I'm constantly thinking!
